No. Bookkeeping-OCR uses a perpetual license model — buy the application once and with a maintained service contract continue to use the application for many years.
What is the 1-year service contract?
Every license includes a 1-year service contract from the date of purchase. This covers email customer support and software updates. A maintained service contract provides protection from unexpected changes from operating system software changes that may break the application.

What does the renewal lock-in mean?
As an introductory offer purchaser, you lock in a discounted service contract continuation rate of $19.99/year for 2 years after the original purchase year. The regular service contract rate is currently $34.99/year. This discounted rate is guaranteed for 2 consecutive years after the purchase year.
What is the free Invoice Module upgrade?
Purchasing a Full License now includes a free upgrade to the Invoice Module when it launches in Summer 2026. This module will be sold separately for $79.00 — introductory offer purchasers receive it at no additional charge.
Can I use the app on more than one computer?
Each license covers one computer. If you need to move to a new machine, contact support@bookkeeping-ocr.com and we'll transfer your license. Only one computer can be active at a time.
Is there a refund policy?
We hope that a 30-day free trial provides users with confidence that the application is right for them. We will respect an additional 30-day refund window from the day of purchase.
Is my data private?
Completely. All your financial data is stored locally on your computer — never uploaded to any server. Bookkeeping-OCR works entirely offline after initial activation. You own your data, full stop.
