To proceed: click the ··· (three dots) next to the warning → Keep → Show more → Keep anyway. The installer will then run normally with no further warnings.

Troubleshooting
macOS: "Bookkeeping-OCR is damaged and can't be opened"
This is a standard macOS security warning for apps downloaded directly. To fix:
- Open Terminal (Applications → Utilities → Terminal)
- Paste this command and press Enter:
xattr -d com.apple.quarantine /Applications/Bookkeeping-OCR.app
- Try launching the app again
Windows: Edge says the file "isn't commonly downloaded" — is it safe?
Yes, it is safe. Bookkeeping-OCR is signed with an EV (Extended Validation) Code Signing Certificate issued to RS PROJECT, LLC — you will see that publisher name listed in the dialog. Microsoft Edge flags newly released software until enough users have downloaded it to build a reputation. To proceed: click ··· → Keep → Show more → Keep anyway. The installer will run normally with no further warnings.
App won't launch
If the app doesn't launch after installation:
- Restart your computer and try again
- Check permissions: Ensure you have admin rights (Windows) or the app isn't quarantined (macOS)
- Check disk space: Make sure you have at least 50 MB of free space
- Reinstall: Uninstall the app completely and reinstall from a fresh copy
- Contact support: Email support@bookkeeping-ocr.com with your OS version and any error messages
